FUTURE ROCK TRANSFORMATION: Grouper Fish

Materials: Mookaite Jasper rock

Weight: 4.8 pounds

Measurements: 9” L x 5 1/2” H x 3 3/4” W

I believe this is Mookaite Jasper…This lovely rock was one of several I was allowed to choose from on a friend’s magical property. She had also collected many beautiful rocks over the years and most were located in her Labyrinth or resting nearby.

More and more I learned to trust my intuition and follow through when my attention is drawn to something, such was the case with this rock.

Unless it’s dark I always wash and photograph any new rocks I bring into my “stable” the same day. By photographing it from all angles it allows me to see what wasn’t present to the naked eye-if I didn’t already see a definite shape.

It was pretty obvious to me this was a Grouper fish after I set it up for pictures.

To date it is still waiting for its transformation in my yard…
